I have been wanting to try the Mott St. burger for quite some time, and the day finally came. Mott St. is an Asian-inspired restaurant in Chicago's Wicker Park neighborhood that blends flavors from countries like Korea, China, and Japan with American dishes. It's one of those cozy neighborhood restaurants that immediately feels intimate and familiar to me. Sort of like I'm sitting in someone's kitchen being made a home cooked meal. During the summer, Mott St. has a great outdoor patio with a walk-up window to place food and drink orders.
We went for brunch, and they have an excellent brunch menu. An incredibly important thing to note about Mott St. is the burger is only sold until 7:00pm!

Mott Burger: the burger presentation was 10/10. The burger is BIG. It comes with two patties, hoisin aioli, pickled jalapeƱo, dill pickles, miso butter onions, cheese, and sweet potato shoestrings. The sweet potato shoestrings were my favorite addition because it gives the burger a crunch. Overall, the burger was exactly what I was hoping for and delicious.

Pork Belly Benedict: we ordered the Pork Belly Benedict to split among the table. The miso butter flavor and the mushrooms on the eggs were great but there wasn't a lot of pork belly that came with the dish. This tasted really good, but I was hoping for a little more.

Mott St. has a great cocktail menu with a variety of seasonal cocktails. I ordered their Spicy Bloody Mary and it was excellent, probably one of my favorite Bloody Mary's I've ever ordered. I'll definitely be back to Mott St.! The restaurant books up quickly, so highly recommend making a reservation rather than walking in.
