I had walked past The Aberdeen Tap countless times before finally visiting, always drawn to its tucked away location. It seemed like a very popular place because every time I passed it, the bar seats were constantly packed and hinted at its local charm. During the summer the restaurant has patio seating wrapping around the outside of the bar. My friends and I stopped by for a bite to eat, sat on the patio, and had a great time. For a small neighborhood spot, The Aberdeen Tap serves up surprisingly great bar food. They have a big menu and seem to be well known for their Grinders on French hoagies. We ordered the Pork Belly Grinder, the Duck Grinder, and wings. Everything was very good and affordable. Their kitchen is open late until 11:45pm each night! Highly recommend checking out The Aberdeen Tap if you're in the neighborhood and looking for a casual bite to eat.
