Paros off the coast of Greece is a charming blend of traditional Greek beauty and vibrant island life. Unlike the more tourist-heavy Santorini, I thought Paros was a lot more laid back with similar beautiful views. The main area of Naoussa was where we spent most of our time. The streets of Naousa on the harbor were perfect for many strolls by the water, trying new food, and exploring. Although Naousa is definitely where you will experience the most foot traffic on the island.
Come Back: We had a casual lunch at Come Back one day after walking around the town and it was great. While the food wasn't the absolute best we had on the island, the views were breathtaking, as you're right on the beach, sitting just a foot away from the shoreline. I thought my poke bowl was a great size and refreshing. It was a great place for a casual lunch and drinks.
Blue Oyster: Blue Oyster was out of the main town of Naousa but close to the house we were renting, and in my opinion, totally worth venturing out of the main area. The muscles were delicious, and of course all of the oysters we tried tasted extremely fresh. I'm normally a big fan of taramasalata, a Greek fish roe dip, but thought this one was lacking some flavor. Overall, everything was great.
Siparos: This was my favorite meal we had in Paros and I would go back to this restaurant in a heartbeat! I thought the ambiance of the restaurant was great, and there was a wide variety of menu items from fish to linguini.
Barbarossa: Barbarossa in Paros is a very lively spot that’s perfect for a big night out. We had an absolute blast with our group of 20. It was a dinner filled with a lot of dancing on the tables, good food, and great music. Barbarossa is probably the most touristy dinner spot on the island, and very chaotic. So, if you are looking for a more relaxing dinner, I'd avoid this spot. Because it is a very well known restaurant on the island, getting reservations can be difficult, especially during peak summer season.
