Labor Day weekend is here! I don't know about you, but it feels like time is flying. I can't believe summer is almost over. I have mixed feelings about it. Summer is my favorite season, but I do love fall so much. Chicago is magical for both seasons.

Great American Lobster Fest 🦞: This is the midwest's largest seafood fest. Great American Lobster Fest is filled with fresh lobster flown in from Maine daily and includes other seafood to try. There are non-seafood vendors, desserts, drinks, and live music on the lakefront.

Time: Saturday 1pm to 10pm, Sunday 1pm to 8pm, with lobster meal redemption 1pm to 7pm each day

Chicago Jazz Festival🎶: This is a free Chicago tradition and the unofficial kickoff to fall festival season. Four days of jazz in Millennium Park, with a lineup that runs from the legends to the local names worth knowing.

Green City Market💐: I love the Green City Markets. There are so many different vendors and locations around the city. Lincoln Park is my favorite, but there is also a location in West Loop.
Date: Every Wednesday and Saturday through November 21

Green City Market
ARC Music Festival🎧: House music was born in Chicago, and ARC knows how to celebrate house music. Three days of world class DJs in Union Park. I have been to Arc, and it's a great festival that's walking distance to Chicago's West Loop and Fulton Market neighborhoods.

Chi Food Truck Fest 🛻: A rotating lineup of the city's food trucks set up in the Loop. Try a variety of different food and walk around downtown Chicago.
